1982 Canon 310XL Movie Camera

1982 Canon 310XL Movie Camera

Canon aims to pursue a small and lightweight camera for this model, so that 8mm movie cameras can continue to be used. Because this model first uses near-infrared active single autofocus to focus on the subject before starting shooting, a new system has been developed that uses a transmission device for film transfer and autofocus. The lens uses the same optical system as the popular 310XL (launched in 1975), while the barrel has been modified to add an autofocus system. Adopting a new design with dark gray and metallic silver as the base colors, as well as a casing that wraps around the camera.
